Enantis received SME grant for development of wound healing products

30 million CZK (i.e. 1.1 mil EUR) for the development of wound healing products was awarded from the H2020 SME instrument to Enantis, a biotechnological spin-off of the Masaryk University in Brno, the Czech Republic.  The funded research is based on the fibroblast growth factor, a protein used for example in the stem cells research.  It is foreseen that the project will develop products for a more effective healing of hard-to-heal wounds, such as the burns or diabetic wounds.  According to the vice-rector of the Masaryk University the project would never succeed without a close collaboration of biologists, chemists, and business and economic experts. AMIRES was happy to partner with the South Moravian Innovation Centre to support this success story.
