Opportunities to develop and improve your research and digital skills in AMIRES

Two funded schemes are available to boost the research and digital skills of students or young professionals.

Marie Curie Individual Fellowships (MSCA-IF-2018) for companies is a new Horizon 2020 opportunity which allows companies to hire qualified researchers at “post-doctoral” level (Ph.D. or master and at least 4 years full-time research experience) for a maximum of 2 years to work on a “bottom-up” (self-chosen) research project. Furthermore, The EU Commission has developed a specific traineeship scheme to strength ICT specific skills, in fields like cybersecurity, big data, quantum technology and machine learning or boost digital skills for business in areas like web design, digital marketing, and software development. The pilot project will be financed by Horizon 2020 and implemented through Erasmus+. The Digital Opportunity traineeship initiative will start in June 2018 and more all companies are welcome to offer digital traineeships, in particular, those involved in the Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition and businesses active in Horizon 2020.
