32nd Annual Conference of the European Society for Biomaterials | Bordeaux, France

From 4th to 8th September, our ORGANTRANS project partner, REGENHU, participated in 32nd Annual Conference of the European Society for Biomaterials in Bordeaux, France. Dr. Mauro Petretta was a keynote speaker there, and he gave a talk about extending the capabilities of bioprinting within Parallel Sessions on “New bioinks for complex 3Dprinted tissue substitutes: from native functionality to disease modelling”. The ORGANTRANS project where Amires is a partner was mentioned as an example of the use case. From the presentations, it was clearly seen that the bioprinting world is expanding but it still needs more convergence and the use of multiple technologies combined in a single process that will allow pushing further the boundaries of research in this field.
