EU-funded BOOSTER project: A Promising Future for Organic Photovoltaics!

December 3

The EU-funded BOOSTER project has officially restarted, taking a bold step toward advancing organic photovoltaic technology for the building-applied photovoltaics market. We are honoured to welcome Fraunhofer FEP as the new project coordinator, with Dr. Matthias Fahland leading the charge.

On 13 November 2024, the BOOSTER consortium convened at Fraunhofer FEP in Dresden, Germany, to outline the roadmap and realign on the project’s ambitious objectives:

  • Development of flexible 12% OPV modules at roll-to-roll industrial scale.
  • Achieving a module lifetime of 35 years, ensuring long-term reliability.
  • Designing innovative, integrated OPV solutions.

To mark this exciting moment, Dr. Matthias Fahland shared a special video message, expressing his enthusiasm for the project’s revival and his confidence in the team’s ability to drive impactful results.

With renewed energy and expertise, the EU-funded BOOSTER project is set to deliver groundbreaking innovations for sustainable energy solutions.
