EuroNanoForum 2019 Takeaways

Amires had a strong presence at the EuroNanoForum 2019 bi-annual event taking place in Bucharest from 12th to 14th June. This event is focusing on both the industrial application of research results and future strategic research priorities in the area of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials of the Horizon 2020 NMBP Programme and beyond. The event was composed of a conference, workshops, exhibition, site tours, brokerage events and social events, all of which made it a worthwhile occasion.

Amires booth exhibited a number of projects the company is involved in as well as the company’s in-house developed software products AMIplexus and EffiBUILDING. The projects displayed showed the wide range of topics Amires is involved in from photonics & electronics pilot lines (InPulse, Lyteus, SmartEEs, InSCOPE) and nano-enabled materials (OASIS), to additive manufacturing (Manuela) and energy storage (Smart2Go, SABINA).

​​​​​​​On the last day of the event a workshop called “Boosting Innovation for EU Industry” was organized by the European Commission. Amires’ CEO Rudolf Fryček acted as one of the panel experts talking about Amires’ involvement in innovation ecosystem building in Europe through different Pilot Lines, Open Innovation Test Beds and Digital Innovation Hubs.
