Meet Our Team: New Members!

We are excited to welcome four new talented professionals to our team at AMIRES.

Below, you can meet our team:

Betina Debastiani Benato joins us as a Project Manager with a robust background in biotechnology. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and a Master’s degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology.

Her research has taken her across the globe, from enhancing nutrient content in rice at the Free University of Bolzano, Italy, to mitigating the effects of climate change in maize at the Technical University of Munich, Germany. Betina’s expertise includes the development of AI tools for plant phenotyping and managing projects that bridge academia, industry, and government.

At AMIRES, she is contributing to the ALGAESOL and Shine PV projects, where her skills will be invaluable.

Cristina-Florentina Dinca also joins us as a Project Manager, bringing a wealth of experience in international relations, sustainable development, and European policy. Cristina holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and European Studies and a Master’s degree in Security and Diplomacy from the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration in Bucharest.

Her academic journey includes an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Programme in Euroculture and a research track at Indiana University-Purdue University in the USA. Cristina’s professional background spans both governmental and private sectors, including roles at the Romanian Ministry of Environment and the European Commission’s Directorate General for Trade.

At AMIRES, she will be applying her expertise to the H2020 project ComBioTES and the Horizon Europe TRIATHLON project.

Petra Žárská has joined AMIRES as our new Intellectual Property Manager. Petra brings a wealth of experience and expertise in managing and protecting intellectual property in the context of research and innovation projects.

Her in-depth knowledge will be essential in ensuring that our clients’ innovations are safeguarded throughout their development and commercialization processes.

Eva Černá is the newest Project Manager in our Deep Tech team. With her strong background in managing cutting-edge technology projects, Eva will be leading key initiatives to drive forward innovation in the deep tech sector.

Her dedication to transforming research into impactful solutions makes her an excellent addition to the AMIRES team.

We are thrilled to have Betina, Cristina, Petra and Eva on board, and we look forward to the contributions they will make to our ongoing efforts at AMIRES.
