Strategic Partnering

For whom is it prepared?

Strategic partnering model is suggested for industrial partners (incl. SMEs) with little or no experience with cooperative international projects or with limited network of partners. This service is excellent starting point for cooperation-based projects and for introduction into the international environment and open innovation concepts.

What is included?

During the animated session, the AMIRES consultant leads the management of the company through competence mapping and innovation opportunity analysis towards the competitors and partners segmentation. Based on the results, the consultant prepares from internal partner’s database and other sources overview of possible strategic partners (core of the future consortium). The overview of the most appropriate funding tools currently available will be afterwards provided.

Expert Package

For whom is it prepared?

Expert package is prepared as a cost-effective solution for universities and research centers staff (not exclusively), who want to increase their chances in the proposal selection process. These experts usually have sufficient knowledge of the European funding tools and used procedures and have wide network of partners. For this model we rely on consultants with expertise as evaluators or reviewers, large number of Evaluation Summary Reports and when needed on support of external experts (e.g. former evaluators). In particular we provide services in ICT, NMP, ENERGY, HEALTH and SECURITY domains.

What is included?

The package is based on 3 steps consulting process during which AMIRES consultant and/or expert from the field (usually evaluator or reviewer in the relevant field) provide feedback for improvement. First step comments on idea, concept, novelty, partnership and relevance to the call. Second step is focused on proposal structuring, text clarity and formulation, implementation of the project. The last step provides comprehensive overview of the proposal, incl. impact, budget comments, formatting and proposal finalization tricks. This service is provided on-line, preferably by emails and teleconferencing tools.

Widening Package

For whom is it prepared?

Widening package is an ideal solution for coordinators from universities and research centres who would like to increase their chances in the Teaming, Twinning or ERA-Chairs proposal selection process. In this model, our consultants offer experience with successful project acquisition and proposal evaluation.

What is included?

The package starts with an introductory meeting during which a general template is provided. It includes practical hints and examples. There are several rounds of commenting included at the beginning of the proposal preparation process to ensure a good proposal set-up. Guidance and suggestions for improvements are provided constantly throughout the entire proposal preparation process incl. excellence, work package description, implementation, impact, budget.

Full Project Preparation

For whom is it prepared?

This service is provided for coordinators, who want to have enough liberty for scientific and technology leadership of the consortium and enjoys professional preparation methodology. Based on our experience, this model ensures outstanding success rate of full proposals submitted. Early booking of our consultants is highly recommended.

What is included?

Proved system which allows sufficient flexibility for each project needs. The AMIRES consultant creates operative team with coordinator, who keeps the decision power. The consultant plans preparation steps and timeline and if necessary provides partner search from internal databases of experienced and reliable partners. The consultant communicates with individual partners and collects necessary information for the proposal preparation. The consultant animates session on structuring of the project flow and co-chairs the preparatory meeting with core partners. The consultant helps to set up appropriate management structure for project implementation, is responsible for budget preparation, management and impact part drafting. The consultant is submitting the project proposal using the relevant electronic tools. Both during the preparation and after the submission EU lobbying activity is considered.

Full Project Management

For whom is it prepared?

For coordinators, who want to have enough liberty for scientific and technology leadership of the consortium during the project preparation and expect professional leadership and management during the project cycle while not using its own human resources.

What is included?

All services provided by AMIRES in the “Full project preparation” toped up by support of the project coordinator and WP leaders with administrative, financial, dissemination and exploitation tasks – introducing the role of the project manager. Prompt negotiation and seamless project execution will be ensured including consortium agreement preparation, monitoring and timing of deliverables and milestones, timely and quality reporting check and partners budget follow-up etc. The coordination of project meetings as well as dissemination and exploitation planning may also be led by the AMIRES project manager.

Long-term Cooperation

For whom is it prepared?

This model is intended for partners or coordinators with most demanding requests and multiple projects participation.

What is included?

All services provided by AMIRES and described in other models are included. Consultant(s) will show proactive effort to get client into strategically defined projects and support their preparation, technology scouting, including training of internal staff, ad-hoc problems solving and EU lobbying.
